Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as a childhood passion for art and craft gradually evolved into a lifelong mission—to inspire creativity, design meaningful experiences, and make art accessible to people of all ages.
Today, I am an artist, designer, educator, author, entrepreneur, and product innovator who has spent over two decades building creative platforms, developing original craft concepts, and nurturing the joy of handmade creativity.
My Creative Journey
My journey began by teaching children the joy of art. I established my own art institute, where I personally trained more than 500 students for the Elementary and Intermediate Art Grade Examinations, helping young artists discover confidence through creativity.
As an artist, I have had the privilege of exhibiting my work at prestigious galleries.
My first exhibition at Kala Ghoda Art Gallery showcased Abstract Ganesha created using a variety of textures and artistic techniques. The exhibition received an overwhelming response, with almost all of my paintings being sold. The exhibition was also featured in The Times of India.
My second exhibition at Kohinoor Art Gallery explored human emotions through abstract mood boards and the different moods and emotional journeys of individuals. This collection was equally well received, with many artworks finding new homes.
A Pioneer in Creative Publishing
Driven by my passion for sharing creativity with others, I co-founded and served as the Editor of Our Idea Book, India’s first magazine dedicated exclusively to art and craft.
The magazine quickly gained popularity, with over 1,000 copies sold across India and the United Kingdom, inspiring hobbyists, educators, and artists alike.
Creating a New DIY Craft Category in India
One of the milestones I am most proud of is pioneering a dedicated DIY Craft category in India.
At a time when structured DIY craft kits were still relatively unexplored, I focused exclusively on creating innovative, educational, and engaging DIY craft experiences. Through years of product development and design innovation, I helped establish and popularize a specialized crafting segment that continues to inspire children, families, hobbyists, educators, and creative entrepreneurs.
